„For some time the fan community of classic lines in the yacht sport has been growing strongly. Many of the „old ladies“ are being restored carefully and also exclusive new builds made of old materials are rolled out of the shipyards along the coasts. Classic yachts are again of equal interest as modern racing constructions since a long time – a real popular figure with history. It is a pleasure to study classic boats and their history as well as to listen to their owners and to dive into the aura of the classic yacht sport. This virus is contagious, as more and more of the sailors got addicted. Some appreciate the purness by sailing classic yachts whilst others like their elegance; but all of them agree in the feeling of freedom to sail off a stressful every day life on old and well maintained yachts.“
